What is VUB Engage?
VUB Engage is het participatieplatform van de Vrije Universiteit Brussel
VUB Engage offers a low-threshold participation platform for you to share your ideas and opinions with other students and staff members within the VUB community and to join the discussion.
In addition, it wants to support the VUB community in suiting the action to the word, and facilitating the process of turning ideas into definite results where possible. See also our About page.
VUB Engage is multi-lingual
The platform is multi-lingual. If you are reading this you landed on the English version, but there is also a Dutch one, which you can access by clicking on the downward arrow in the upright corner next ENG.
When you submit your idea it will be visible to both Dutch and English speakers, in the language that you submitted it in. In the near future, automated translation functionality will be added. Until then you can use external translation options, such as Google translate.
Getting started on VUB Engage
On the platform, you will find a number of initiatives set up by the VUB community under the header of 'Projects'.
Some of these projects will ask for your participation in different ways. For instance, by asking your opinion or gathering your ideas.
Give it a try:
- First log in using your VUB Office 365 account: yourfirstname.yourlastname@vub.be
- Then submit an idea by hitting the 'Start an idea' button, and selecting the project you want to participate in
- You can also comment on existing ideas
- If you have an idea on how to improve the VUB, but cannot find an appropriate project to contribute it to, select 'Suggest your own idea' when starting an idea.
