Campus of tomorrow: Work and Study
This project invited VUB students and staff to contribute to a strategic environmental plan for the Brussels Humanities, Sciences and Engineering Campus (Campus Etterbeek). Currently, insights gathered via a workshop and VOX.VUB are being processed alongside a broader analysis that is conducted to prepare the plan.
Original description of the project:
To get a good insight into the ins and outs of the campus we are looking for experience experts to jointly focus on the future ambitions for the campus, on campus and beyond.
A number of workshops will take place for this, including a workshop on the theme "Working and studying". Together with VOX.VUB we work towards this workshop. Students, researchers, teachers and employees who populate the campus daily are welcome there, but also professionals who know the campus in the broad Brussels context.
To prepare for this workshop, your input is welcome here: https://vox.vub.be/projects/campus-of-tomorrow-work-and-study/process
This project is moderated by Jonas De Maeyer, collaborator of Endeavour, the organisation that is facilitating the workshops together with the VUB. Jonas is assisted on VOX.VUB by Eveline Bruneel (student coach, see picture on the right) and Rebecca Léonard (student counselor).
Phases
Time for feedback
The design team of the VUB Campus of Tomorrow project would like to thank you all for your input.
The remarks clearly point out that there is a particular need for more flexible work and study spaces that are permanently available.
This input will be integrated in the design and advice for the board of managing directors.
